How long can the issues and news reports about Ammon Bundy go on until the church has to act in a decisive way to excommunicate him?

What is there was some type of Waco style siege and shooting with him?How long can it be that the church makes a decision to agree with him or not?

I certainly don't know how much AB goes to church (convert or 'joined' as a child) or anything about him...

Maybe he enjoys tarnishing ChurchCos lily white rep, maybe he doesn't think or worry about it at all...

methinks the zealot real ChurchCo member 'patriots' are mostly in Idaho & Wyoming, fwiw.

As in lots of other matters, ChurchCo chooses to walk a thin line so as not to politically offend anyone just like they do with the deep doctrine; See how good they are at doing that? Practice!!!

Church policy is to not excommunicate anyone until they are convicted.

Not official policy is to discipline those who become a public embarrassment to the church over church issues, like same sex marriage, ordaining women, etc.

Bundy isn't generally known by "the world" to be a Mormon, and he isn't doing things in the name of Mormonism, so he's not embarrassing the church. And he's not doing the main thing that'll get you kicked out: leading the faithful away from the brethren.

They should give him a calling or three. He certainly seems to have a lot of free time that the church could put to good use.

Quite a long time. Eternities maybe.

TSCC doesn't agree with anyone or anything. Even if they agreed with anyone they wouldn't do anything.

sure, people sometimes come up with 'new ideas' but usually they're actually ideas that someone else has spoken and/or written, passed on to others.

there are sometimes new methods of achieving those before-mentioned ideas.

I DON'T think todays 'patriot militia' are Free - Thinkers any more than U or I, re-hashed goals & policies with slightly different means to achieve them, for example:

All those gun-toting extremists are rallies: They're there to intimidate 'enemies' & support each other, Nothing new here folks, move along.
