The people at the plasma donation centers are being willfully naive. Of course college students donate blood plasma for the money. They were doing it back in my day. It wasn't my preferred method of earning money, but for some kids it worked out. And now you can get $200 vs. $25 if you have Covid antibodies.

So if they stop paying a premium for plasma with Covid antibodies, the problem goes away.

They should be paid the market rate to NOT get Covid.
