I'm not sure if "coniferous" is the right word. I thought you were maybe referring to artichokes or something.

Pine cones? Ever eat a pine tree? Many parts are edible.

Bonus points if you know the reference.

Good old Euell Gibbons. Eating pine trees, cattails, and grape nuts.

Evil: profoundly immoral and wicked.

Also, LIVE, backwards.

Is doing nothing ever evil?

I have a thing about mendacity; I'm against it. I'm good at spotting it and I enjoyed making a living fighting it.

You can do evil without ever lying. I think mundane evil mostly springs from being unhappy and/or dissatisfied.

True Evil does exist. I hope it's as rare as I perceive it to be.

Christians should answer yes to your question. The parable of The Good Samaritan proves it.

If doing 'nothing' can rise to the level of evil, it's a good thing that there's a ghawd to judge us, because left to our own devices, we'd let the cutie pies off with just a lecture.

Whoever does judge us, do they have bad days? Wouldn't you hate to be judged by a ghawd who couldn't find his keys and hit all red lights driving in, and spilled Postum on his temple suit as he was getting out of his chariot of the ghawds?

And can I appeal a judgment?

If you pass on an opportunity to help the living because you've scheduled working for the dead you are evilly led and monetarily bled Postum or no Postum.

As someone once said, "let the dead bury the dead."

A margarita pizza is a soggy mess and a waste of good tequila.

Oh? Really?

Um, never mind.

Look up the latest incarcerated monthly and scan over the crimes. You will find it.

Violations of the golden rule constitute evil. Sometimes, inaction is a violation, so yes, people can be evil even while doing nothing.

Am I being tricked by Evil into saying that it's all relative?
