Our first son was about 3 years old at the time.

As the traffic was really heavy, we all had to stay in line for a long period of time. So (of course), he had to re-leave himself (#1).

So we let him out of the car and told him to go off the road and do his thing.

In that he was doing what we all felt like doing--but didn't dare--the cars' horns behind us started to do their thing, in acknowledgment and envy.

It really lightened up an otherwise boring period. (We were happy to oblige.)

On the southern border of Massachusetts, it touches the Connecticut border near Rhode Island ("Tristate") border. It's commonly called Lake Webster, which is simpler than its proper Indian name:

"Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg," translated, means "You fish on your side, I fish on my side, nobody fishes in the middle."

That's a real town in Wales, the longest town name in the world, according to Business Insider. Sure makes "antidisestablishmentarianism" look tame.

Fun read.

Was that "Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu?"

I always spell it "Taumatawhakatangihankagoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu."

Edited to correct spelling.

I wish the Iriquois would give some of their consonants, especially "g"s, to the Hawaiians. The Welch have some "g"s and "l"s they could spare too.

BTW, Los Vegas is a pidgin variant of the original English name, Lost Wages.

Ah yes, the always apt allusion to Steely Dan.

Might as well go all the way and call it Los Vagos.

Then the answer would be:   ME!
