I always thought Zardoz would be a good film for folks studying statistics; they could observe and calculate the average amount of times viewers say "What the Hell?"
A believable plot with a credible hero with realistic technology. The more megalomaniacal the heroes, the more farfetched the plots. the more outlandish the gadgets. Worst of all: Moonraker.
One of my two, all-time favorite, films. (The other is "Day of the Jackal")
I understand the negative critical reviews "Thunderball" received (and I don't necessarily disagree with the points those critics made), but in the case of each film, there is something compelling in those films that connects with something deep inside of me--and I don't ever get tired of seeing/hearing them.
