I was in line at a grocery store yesterday, and the women in front of me was buying groceries on the her ward's tab. When the clerk was done and gave her the total, she told him that it was tax exempt. He told her it was not. She started arguing with the checker about how it was a non profit organization. made me lol, how hard she tried to defend it, but is tscc's tax exempt status close to being removed?

But the investigation can take 2 years, and I'm not sure when they started it.

In California grocery items are not taxed, except for hot prepared food (I think). Different in other states?

On taxable items if you want to claim tax exemption you better have the tax exemption number.
