...so when no one is around and you seek the comfort that comes only through the ingestion of your favorite secret junk-food indulgence...pray tell...what is it that you reach for?

Obviously with our dearly beloved nemesis Daniel Peterson it is of course Krispy Kremes!!!

But now I'm gonna let you all in on my little secret...as for me...it's milk-chocolate covered pretzels...Mmm Mmm good!

What say you???

Or so it seems to me...

For me it's hard salami, sharp cheddar cheese and Triscuit crackers. Unfortunately the salami makes my blood pressure soar. It sucks to get old doesn't it?

Sometimes it's popcorn (made on the stove in a pot, not some microwaveable bag) and salted until my lips pucker. Sometimes it's Doritos and cottage cheese (mmm, I love that one). Sometimes it's salty, chocolatey, nutty treats like a snickers bar or BeenThere's chocolate covered pretzles. (I only make those for Christmas goodie bags, though. Too much work.)

Cheese soup, avocado soup, or summer sausage with squeeze cheese.

Nutella on wheat and a glass of milk or pita chips with hummus or sharp cheese. Good stuff!

I toast a nice firm sprouted wheat bread, slather it with real butter then just barely glaze it with peanut butter, but it's gotta be the crappy peanut butter, like the store's brand or Jiff, none of those healthy, lumpy peanut butters you get at health food stores.

My other favorite combo is marinated greek olives and feta cheese on a cracker and a glass of old vine zin.

popcorn, sprinkled with butter, parmesan cheese and Cajun spice mix. It depends on if I want comfort or have the munchies. I never go for the sweet stuff but if there is cheese in the house, especially good cheese, that is also a big weakness for me. Not that I won't eat the sweet stuff but it's just not a comfort food/munchies sort of thing I crave.

I'm eating baked potato slices with sea salt and organic catsup right now. I'd so much rather have healthy food than chocolate.

OK, I'm lying....

I go on a huge See's chocolate binge after Christmas, during the post-Christmas let-down--alone, after all the guests and family have gone home--lasting until New Year's, when I make the same New Year's resolution every year.

I am a choclaholic.
