The bible is mainly tradition with the New Testament writings well after Jesus supposedly lived. Mormon don't like it as the "as far as translated correctly" line shows - yet they don't use Joseph Smith's "inspired version".

The Book of Mormon is talked about a lot but nothing in it can be shown to be based on any kind of reality.

The Quran(Koran) was not written by Mohammed as he could not read or write. It was told to others and they wrote it and he corrected if needed - While he was actually alive. He said the Angel Gabriel told him what was then written.

When things are open to interpretation to suit a personal agenda, then so is the word "correct."

Note how the word "most" functions in that phrase.

Which is a stronger endorsement: the BoM is correct or the BOM is the most correct? Obviously the former. By appending "most," the church undermines the authority of its scripture, implying that it contains errors.

Why would Mormonism want to qualify its commitment to the BoM in that way? Because that admits other sources of truth: namely, the brethren. Be it the Bible or the BoM, all scripture is provisional and must be interpreted by the Q15. If the church conversely treated the Bible and the BoM as "correct," or "the word of God," the individual would be freed to disregard Q15 statements that contradicted those scriptures.

Recall how JS praised individual revelation until he was in power, then he had a revelation saying only he was inspired to lead the church. Subtly undermining the authority of scripture does the same thing: it increases the Q15's power.

Aside any scriptural debate I think the OED is pretty correct. Thank you Dr. Murray.
