Some advice I have taken was from Cary Grant. He was asked what his secret was to being named the best dressed star, he replied: "It's simple. When I get up in the morning I look out the window. If everyone is wearing brown I wear bleu. If everyone is wearing blue I wear gray." Still good in an age where the scruffy look seems to be the fashion.
