I am not a Native American, (hereinafter "NA,") so I do not favor them because of that. I have provided legal services to some in Arizona and Nevada. NA are beautiful people and I feel that all of them should be compensated for the land that was stolen from them - sickeningly by murder at times. Every year, 5% of the annual US GNP should be awarded to them on a per capita basis. That is, if an individual is 100% NA, they would get 100% of their share of the 5%. If the individual is 75% NA, they would get 75%, if they are 50% NA would get 50% of their share, etc. All of this would be on top of providing water and electricity to all residences of all.

Mine have been in the Americas since the 1500's.

The "Native Americans" are just immigrants from an earlier time.

Native Americans were present in the Americas when the bulk of your ancestral DNA was still embodied in dirt farmers in Anatolia and Central Asia who had yet to enter Europe proper. Native Americans are accordingly more "American" than you are "European."

That seems like it would matter.
