Has Mr. Nelson said unequivocally that

- the LDS is the (only) true church of Christ

- that he ("I") am a true prophet, I am the only conduit (or messenger) of God's will to people on Earth

- has he predicted (specific) future events (unknown to others) that have later come true?

I belleive that what he said was
"I am sustained as such"

The quote above came from a transcript of an interview that Gordo did with the San Francisco Chronicle in 1997. The “I am sustained as such” quote came from his interview with Larry King.

So, out of humility (or more likely, honestly) he ducked the question at least twice.

Russ has taken the Hinckley "sustained-as-such" route like every "prophet" after him.

You get that high up and your only hope for a revelation is trying to convince yourself that what ever pops into your head must have been put there by God. Deep down, you know it's you, but Wendy assures you it's all from God. She can't be seen as the wife of a doddering old fool who makes up inanities, now can she!

They have no answers to the tough questions--Joe, Brigham, BoM, BoA--and so they are slowly but surely, without even admitting to each other or themselves, becoming another generic church.

Like a school of fish moving in unison. Makes it easy for the sharks. That would be us.

Most likely no, I wouldn't.

they've not delivered on their claims especially their lack of focus on Honesty, Kindness, Respect.

Their focus is 99% around Mormonim & the PH authority.

The Mormon church has morphed into an organization where policy changes pass for revelation, obedience has replaced love, and the musings of old men trump both scripture and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
