Have any of you ever been to 27bslash6?

First of all, the site's not for the faint of heart in the sense that if you visit, you will see Tabitha Gnillort giving a one-finger salute. If that's not your bag, read no further.

Some background: Aussie, David Thorne, created the site to basically bug people who bug him. I'm envious of his email exchanges with his landlord and others. Funny, funny, funny! But if sarcasm and snark are not your cup of tea, he might not be for you.

Keep in mind that he's a satirist, a graphic designer, and a humorist, so many of the requests and flames thrown his way run the gamut from stupid to, well, extremely stupid. It's the manner in which he deals with these folks who constantly bug him that makes me laugh. And do *not* mess with his offspring!

Here's a link to a request for a poster of a missing cat: http://www.27bslash6.com/missy.html (He's not a big cat fan, but I forgive him.)

And here's a link where he spent a day replying to emails using a Magic 8 Ball (really): http://www.27bslash6.com/magic8ball.html

"Blockbuster Late Fees" is also pretty funny: http://www.27bslash6.com/blockbuster.html

The above are tamer posts.

Again, you might find some language and graphics offensive. They're not pornographic, but, you know.

And if you're having a bad day, click on the "I'm sad about something" link on the right under Tabitha Gnillort giving the salute. You'll be glad you did.

:-)

Oh, and I'm anxiously waiting for my Tabitha t-shirt to arrive! Maybe I will be her next year for Halloween...

and went door to door as a missionary for atheism? Just reading the first one about the missing cat sure sounds like him.

Good stuff. Bitchy but good. Here's the link.

Not only do you get a hilarious story but also some pretty good film reviews too.

he has normal person issues -- people are always hassling him about late fees and his kid acting up in school or whatever, and he somehow manages to get them all flustered, and just through sheer silliness gets such late fees, etc., erased.

Here's one where he deals with complaints about his messy apartment: http://www.27bslash6.com/grubby.html

I posted hi "fagot" one because of the similarity to a psycho emailing a poster on here earlier this week.

Either the "fagot" one, or the letter from the police is the best one. The school note was good too.

I think he's great.

The school note about the flash drive? That's brilliant. http://www.27bslash6.com/flash.html Or the one about the permission slip: http://www.27bslash6.com/easter.html ? Equally awesome!

I also love the one he wrote when he moved to the States about the bear and trash problem fine: [Gar! Can't find the link!] >:-/

LOVE "Statements My Offspring Has Made": http://www.27bslash6.com/slyseb.html

I'm parked outside my husband's work, waiting for him to get off and this is the PERFECT diversion.

I keep snorting, I'm laughing so hard. The Blockbuster Late Fees, the Overdue Account, and the Permission Slip are HILARIOUS. I totally have an internet crush-- the dude's brilliant.

There's plenty of material there for many night's worth of loud laughter. Thanks, Beth!
