I drive by the seminary building near 5300 S.State across from Murray High School and it sure looks abandoned. New construction of a hotel, office buildings and other structures are all around it. The pedestrian bridge over State Street from the high school was demolished some time ago so I don't see an easy way for hordes of students to get across State Street to get there and I never see students around.
Maybe there is a different building someplace else, but I just wonder what is going on now with the seminary program in Utah.
Seminary is a form of torture. With people doing critical thinking earlier in there lives, I don't see it staying the same much longer. Young whippersnappers are getting ready to take over, seminary & church don't fit like they used to.
