The text content that I have found interesting is the text in the song "The Living Daylights".

https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/aha/thelivingdaylights.html

It has some religious and philosophical undertones.

People get into trouble, do not know really what they are doing or what is happening in the dark or when they are blinded by something and everything is dark around. But when the daylight grows stronger people find themselves in a mess and a scapegoat is singled out.

The song

The text content reminds me about the Iowa game test that were performed on psychopaths and how it showed how they had a hyper-focus on a problem they were trying to solve and missed what was happening around them, until it was to late..

My favorite would be "All the Time in the World" sung by Louis Armstrong. If you've seen the movie, it's bittersweet, since they really don't.

My honorable mentions would be "A View to a Kill" by Duran Duran, "Live and Let Die" by Wings, "You know my name" by Chris Cornell, anything by Shirley Bassey and "The Man with the Golden Gun" by Lulu. Its lyrics are corny, but who cares... "He's got a powerful weapon... He charges a million a shot". Maybe the LDS version would be "The man with the Golden Plates".

Since I'm free associating here, let's come up with Mormon Bond film titles:

Dr. Know
From Rameumptom with love
Youngfinger
Packerball
On His President's Missionary Service
Sealings are Forever
Live and Let Dieter
The Man with the Golden Plates
The Smith who Loved Me
Moonquaker
For your Wife Only
Never Say Hoffmann Again
Octopresidency
Interview to a Kill
The Living Ordinances
Licence to Temple
Gordoneye
The Monson Never Lies
One World is not Enough
Priesthood Royale
Benson of Solace
Shycall
Inspector
No Time to Tithe

The "James Bond Theme" used in the gun barrel opening sequence.

When I was a missionary in Barbados, I traveled regularly as an AP. I had a cassette tape mix that had the JB theme on it. We would play it loud, driving as fast as we could in our Russian made car on the narrow roads through the sugar cane fields on the way to the airport. Lots of fun.

As far as movie themes, probably "Live and Let Die"...great song and I've seen Paul McCartney play it live twice....once with Wings and once with his current band.

I'll go for "Goldfinger" because I LOVE Shirley Bassey.

For me it's "Diamonds Are Forever". Anything Bond has to be Bassey, Shirley Bassey.

Hmm. Probably "You Only Live Twice" by Nancy Sinatra, or "Diamonds are Forever" by Shirley Bassey.

My Dad loved the James Bond series, so I always watched them with him when I was growing up. I'm more familiar with the older ones than the newer ones.

Oh! And "Live and Let Die," by Paul McCarney and Wings. That was a good one too.

"Why don't you do right?--Like some other men do. Get out of here, and, get me some money too!"

PS: Sorry, I don't know what 007 stands for.

It was the theme song for Thunderball before they signed Tom Jones. Second favorite would be Jump Up Jamaica.
