Have not experienced a problem-solving discussion for years in my family

Digged into Batesons communications theory today about the double bind. Have a Pdf-document on the computer with some examples.

As a concrete-thinker I must say that I suffer a lot from this kind of communication. It has been going on for years. Many problems are up in their, no beginnings or real ends in sight.

It is a repeated experience with conflicting injunctions and the rule is to never comment on it.

If you comment on it you will experience a disqualification that gaslights you. "Never happened", "You misunderstood me".

I am a late learner and learned to not comment on it a couple of years ago. After that we together went into a new "dimension" of passive-aggressivness.

I want to know what this nonsense is all about? Can someone tell me please? :)
