Nibley referred to Journal of Discourses. Joseph Smith was dead before any of those speeches were made. It was BY who said Mohammed was the closest thing to the gospel on earth in his day.
Nibley does NOT attribute that to JS. And regardless of what Nibley claims—would he lie?—BY did not call Mohammed a prophet.
