Einstein believed in god,
Spinoza's impersonal god,

“I believe in Spinoza’s god, who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world, not in a god who concerns himself with the fate and the doings of mankind.” Albert Einstein

“Scientific research can reduce superstition by encouraging people to think and view things in terms of cause and effect. Certain it is that a conviction, akin to religious feeling, of the rationality and intelligibility of the world lies behind all scientific work of a higher order. [...] This firm belief, a belief bound up with a deep feeling, in a superior mind that reveals itself in the world of experience, represents my conception of God. In common parlance this may be described as "pantheistic" (Spinoza)" Einstein, Albert (2010). Ideas And Opinions. New York: Three Rivers Press, p. 262.

I can trust in that god, nature, which reveals (it’s)self in the lawful harmony of nature.

Like Einstein said, Spinoza’s god is a god of

Einstein, Spinoza and Kaku?

Has a day gone by without you quoting them or what?

“In God We Trust” was put on currency about the same time they were blowing up pristine Pacific atolls with the largest nuclear weapons created by man. So it kind of makes sense.

The largest nuclear weapon ever was the Tsar Bomba and it was a Soviet test in the Arctic. They
didn't trust God much.

At least they knew what they were doing. Castle Bravo was a major disaster due to a vast underestimate of yield. But anyway, there’s the tenuous connection to cat’s obsession with Einstein.

All I need to know is the denomination. The rest doesn't help me buy anything.

And to keep "godless atheist commie" hands off American money.

Same with the pledge of allegiance. Surely their tongues would burn to fire if they tried to say it...

Any day SC gets to type "Michio Kaku" is considered a win by SC. It's like those odd people who find it "weirdly satisfying" to watch FB videos of food coloring being beaten into cake batter.

I just wish God blessed the dollars so they would be worth more.

This makes me wonder why the church needs its huge hedge fund. When Jesus returns, he can just do his loaves and fishes trick with a couple of Benjamins.

That's assuming that Jesus wants to have any dealings, sitting up the everlasting mountains of Zion, with Los Estados Unidos, el EEUU.

Jesus is probably why they switched from treasury notes to federal reserve notes, so that He couldn't come exchange paper for gold.

Of course it doesn't bother you. It defines your life and gives you the desperately needed opportunity to come here and drop Einstein's name for the billionth time. But now I think that has become stalking.

Having god on your money is why it's called "Filthy Lucre" otherwise it would just be ordinary cash.

It doesn't bother me either. Why? Because it just doesn't. It doesn't affect my daily life at all as far I can tell for the last almost 60 years.....not because Einstein, Spinoza, or Michio Kaku define god as nature, etc.

Surely there must be other things that truly bother you enough to post about them here, other than this tired old topic.....but then again, please don't.
