The owner of the Pawn shop valued the book at 25,000$US.
He brought in an expert. She estimated that the value is 40,000$US considering it was printing while Joseph Smith was alive and was probably printed by Joseph Smith and was the last version printed before Joseph Smith was gunned down.
The expert was Rebecca Romney, manager, Bauman Rare Books of Las Vegas
The shop owner (Richard) gave Adam 24,000$US instead if 25,000$US.

I’ll never complain about the price of toilet paper again

It might be toilet paper to some but for me, it is an example of how when the right pieces of the chess pieces are in place, you have a winning combination. Humans can be convinced of just about anything. The proof of this is the multitude of religions and various cults.
Not even so called geniuses are safe. Very few people escape the religion they were grown into.

This has an effect on other subject matters as well.
When people vote for a certain politician and let’s say 90% of them vote for party X, is that 90% really making a good choice?

Health policies: We’ve seen what’s going on with the COVID-19 thing.
Some say wear a mask, others say they are robbing me of my freedom.
Some say it was planned, others say that some people in China imported some animals from the forest.

(If you are curious about my beliefs, I say wear a mask and it is an imported disease from the forest/nature).

Recently, someone mentioned to me brighteon.com
If you search for COVID-19 / coronovirus, you’ll find a hot zone of conspiracy stuff.
Since youtube and facebook is deleting such conspiracy stuff, they have opened up brighteon.com.

I watched a couple of videos.
Video 1:
One of them was clearly a woman working in a pharmacy. She opens a COVID-19 vaccine cardboard box which has 5 vials with a pamphlet.
She unfolds the pamphlets which turns out to be a sheet of 1 m x 1m and it is mostly empty. There is a little bit of text.
She implies that there is something odd going on.

(My interpretation is, that the package designer did not optimize the packaging. Sometimes, I buy a TV, Radio or toy and there is excessive packaging)

Video 2:
A woman claims to be a doctor and asks, “Well if you sneeze, you release viruses. That’s what they have been telling is. Why is it that when they want to do a test, they insert a very long stick and twist? At the base of the skull, there is a soft bone......” I don’t remember the rest.

(I don’t know why they extract it from the nose. Perhaps it does not contain enzymes, perhaps the viral concentration is higher in snot. One can always find the answer if they try hard enough. I did not try hard.
I am just using logic to come up with possible explanations.)
