Canada Day used to be called Dominion Day. I wish they had kept the old name; it had character and a hint of swagger that the current name is missing. Sort of like if the US renamed its holiday from Independence Day to America Day.

All countries have a fourth of july. It falls between the third of july and the fifth of july.
