And put in prisons far from their homes while they wait for their arraignments. That should be sufficient to get lots of them to plead out.

Prisons, I doubt; but perhaps jails.

That's what one gets for assaulting the police, invading Congress, endangering senators and representatives, and many of the other crimes that occurred on the 6th. Those people weren't Antifa; they weren't tourists; but they were much more than trespassers, and being away from their homes is what would happen to anyone else who had committed such crimes. It is, as usual, the charges and the evidence that will provide the incentive to "plead out."

While Captain Moroni appears a buffoon, perhaps with no intention of getting caught up in what happened, he is outlier. Hundreds of those rioters willfully violated the laws in an effort to overturn a free and fair election in the name of an incompetent tyrant.

The constitution is not a suggestion.
