Same "new names"

When members, men and women, who went through the temple all have the same "new name" that day, how will one husband call up the right wife?

I'd like to be a fly flitting around to see all those "Noahs" or "Adams" calling up all those "Sarahs" or "Marthas."

----- Wait! That's MY Sarah you've got there!

In theory, a valiant priesthood holder could end up with multiple wives with the same name.

For all we know, Rusty’s two (or three) wives could have the same secret name.

You know, cuz he thinks getting married on the first of the month is lucky!

I got married on the first of the month.

When my nephew set their marriage date for the same day as I got married, I thought I should tell him to change it.

Well, now he just went through a horrible divorce.

So Rusty might be wrong.

It's like two-factor authentication.

They'll have their own given name and the new name, but if they don't have the other tokens, they're out of luck.

Tyson, who from an IT standpoint is pretty sure they didn't think this through

Before the 1870s everyone had the same name.

Abraham or Sarah.

The idea being you were being brought into the patriarchal order which includes the "Law of Sarah" also known as polygamy.
