I make sourdough from a 200 year old recipe
From this I create fabulous pizza
MY PROBLEM:
Since my wife died I have no lady with whom to share the pizza
Is there any way I can invite an RFM lady to share?

Alas, I am on the East Coast, too far away to make pizza run to Orem, Utah.

But if it is company you crave may I make a suggestion?

Put a sign in your yard "FREE PIZZA, EVERY FRIDAY, 6:00 to 8:00."

Of course, you will get male pizza lovers as well as female pizza lovers, but you will get plenty of company. If you have another sign that says "Donations accepted," you may not even be out any $$$$.

If you live in Orem, it is a safe bet that many of your customers will be ex-Mormons. And the thing they will all have in common is a love of pizza.

And if you have the right pizza oven, sparks will fly!

My 85 year old mother lives in Orem and is a recent widow. thedesertrat1, you would have to play her as well about being a believing Mormon. you in?

You got to work it a little harder. You need Instagram pics of your pizzas. You need to help them understand how they need your pizza instead of someone else's pepperoni.

Your approach is more like trying to lure a lady with meat. Milk before meat.

Now you are talking. But pick a place to meet. Inviting strangers to your home is a bit on the bold side of things.

If you sprinkle edible gold dust (it's a real thing) on the pizza, the Annunaki might come by.

They might kidnap you and make you a slave in their gold mines on Hydron-4, but OTOH you could get an autographed photo of Ishtar! I hear she's super hot!

Are pizzas the new etchings?

I am not not not playing some sort of juvenile game here.
Since my wife died I sometimes get the lonelies
I used to own a pizza place so I thought it might be a generous offer.
I could feed somebody and at the same time have some company.
What is wrong with that?

Not a thing wrong with that. Just a joke. :) Did not mean it like that.

I hope you find some company and your pizzas must be dynamite if you used to own a pizza place. Mangiate voi.

It never would have occurred to me to make a pizza from sourdough bread, but it sounds delicious! I hope that you find a friend to share it with.

Makes the best dough. My Mormon neighbor does it. I've only found it at Schlotzsky's but it isn't as good as the homemade stuff.

I'd apply, but you banished me to a coal shovel instead of a harp. Does that mean I'd be eating the burnt pizza ??????

What a very sweet offer. One mention of your sour-dough crust pizza and you’d be swamped with the enormous glut of my family, and you’d say, “I’m not sure this is what I bargained for!”

Thank you. Sounds absolutely delicious!!!

I started making what I call "Street Pizza". I use "street taco" flour tortilla's that are about 4-5 inches in diameter. Put some sauce on it, pizza sauce, Caesar dressing, olive oil and garlic, etc., then add cheese, toppings and more cheese, top with Italian seasoning, bake at 400 F until toasty, cheese is getting brown spots and tortilla is crispy. WAY GOOD, super easy and fun! Cheap too. I make pepperoni, tomato and basil, Mediterranean chicken, BBQ bacon. etc.....anything you want.

I'm sorry people are so mean. I see nothing wrong with your post. Loneliness is such an oppressive thing to fight. I admire your attempt to meet your needs. Our society is not really structured to help with loneliness, but rather to foster it. We're all just supposed to sit in our homes by ourselves and deal with it. That doesn't help! I think reaching out is the right approach.

When I was young and Bette Midler put out her first album with that song, "Friends", the lyrics seemed like a life line of sort and the phrase "you got to have friends" meant a lot more to some of us than anyone would ever understand. Bette recommended in the song standing on a street corner until some show up. Hope you don't need to go that far, haha. I know what you mean and I hope you find some pals soon.

I don't think anyone meant to be mean--just sometimes we need to joke so badly.

I saw your dinner rolls in a video demonstration you created. Can you create a photography tour or cooking show where we are interactive with you ? Not quite sure how that would work, but it sounds fun.

BYW, your Arizona desert photos are gorgeous. Also, I was looking at your site once, and there was the dearest young boy demonstrating magic tricks. Is he your grandson ?

As long as we're on the subject of Pizza . . .

Some may be interested in my version of low carb, especially for diabetics.

I use Lavash bread. For those not familiar it is mideastern so may be hard to find, and it is paper thin but delicious. I slather green olive tapenade which is olive oil based all over and then top with shredded parmesan cheese. Molto Italiano. I put it on a sheet of tin foil and then put it on the barbecue on highh with the lid down. Only takes like five minutes to get crispy.

I also put regular pizza ingredients as well sometimes.

Craigs list activity board might have some leads.
Make the pizza and drop by the old folks home to share pizza and stories thought that is probably not as easy anymore.
