In a week, I will be in Seattle specifically sea kayaking the San Juan Islands. I have all the equipment for the sea kayaking, but I'm unsure what to bring for the 4 days after kayaking when I will be in Seattle. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in Seattle in late September? Where I live it's sunny and 90 in September.
Thanks

I grew up in the Puget sound area just north of Seattle. Sept. is usually nice, maybe 60s or 70s and it may or may not rain. Sometimes its sunny and dry but you never know. I would bring a light to medium jacket and if its waterproof great, otherwise maybe bring a light rain jacket. A light jacket and layered clothing is best.

Have fun!

I second Roy G Biv, just come with layers, from t-shirts to a medium coat and water proof wind breaker.

Western WA has been in a drought for about 5-6 months, but we are scheduled for 2" of rain today.

Just be flexible.

For night life, dress code is casual, but bring proof of being vaccinated.

Many places require that proof to eat in restaurants, but as a side benefit, you don't need an id to vote.
