It's been 19 years since I first mistakenly stumbled onto this board, the result being a wild ride down the rabbit hole of Mormonism. At that time I was seeking understand and answers to some difficult information I had run across on the F.A.I.R. Mormon website regarding Smith's marrying other men's wives better known as polyandry, a term that at that time was completely new to me.
A poster on this board suggested that I read B H Roberts "Studies of the Book of Mormon" I do not know who that poster was other than perhaps a Swedish lady, so I've never been able to fully thank her. Since that fateful day, my life has never been the same.
Despite not posting here any longer, I still hold this board and those who post here in great esteem.
Every year as the Wasatch Mountains turn once again to their fall colors, I'm reminded of just how important this board was to helping me escape Mormonism and live an authentic life based in reality instead of the pre-packaged, one size fits all, life I was born into.
As I'm reflecting on Recovery from Mormonism and life it helped free me of, I wanted to just give you all a shout out and let you know that Life is good. Cheers and take care until next time. Cr@ig
