My first time through the Temple was being sealed to my wife. It was pre-1990, before the endowment got watered down somewhat. I thought to myself, not sure what goes on in there but if part of it is declaring oral sex off limits then I'm going to exit this church so fast it will make your head spin.

I was a young married when this edict came out from ETB. The bishop invited all of us newly weds to a special fireside chat where he revealed that oral sex was taboo.
Was never invited to a meeting where this was rescinded, but learned decades later, that it only lasted a year of two.
I can't even begin to tell you what I think of that whole episode. But perhaps you can imagine.

When my Bp interviewed me & wife for a TR, he was kinda shy & a bit embarrassed about this, as if he wished he didn't 'have to' mention it (well, we know how Mormons feel they're forced to do things they wouldn't otherwise do...).

in the adult version, Eve is also clean shaved so she doesn't tickle Adam.

I think a lot of adult members were never asked about this. My Dad would have gotten up and left the interview. I also think this is why youth interviews were so invasive and tolerated for decades (1970s-2000s). I think many parents were ignorant that the same person who asks Are you morally chaste, do you obey the law of chastity is ASKING a young man/ young women - How often do you touch your private part? Do you have sensual/erotic dreams?
