We should hold a court of love for the mormon church. Here are a few questions we could ask them:
---------------

* Did you make people swear an oath to kill themselves in a most brutal way if they talked about what happens in the temple?

* Did you instruct people to remove all of their clothes and allow other people to touch them in their private places?

* Name the parts of the body that you touched, and be specific.

* Did you find it gratifying to do this?

* Did you make people promise, before god and all of these witnesses, to give you everything they owned or would ever own?

I'm sure that there are more questions to be asked, , , ,

One that pertains to me, as what they call a 'convert':

Did you promise "all will be revealed" in the temple?

Does your church fulfill this promise?

(Because, really, all I learned about Mormonism I read on RfM. A little late - my stupidity - but better late than the Twelfth of Never).

That was my first temple experience. It ended while I was wondering when they were going to actually reveal something.

...not to mention "learning something new every time you go to the temple!!!"

That was not my experience.

I think I'm still bitter about not ever being able to sit down in the Celestial Room . . .

I was always focused on Eve's bush. I mean, you know, shrubbery.

The temple? Wasn't it Peggy Lee who sang "Is that all there is?"

How about lying all the time.

God never makes mistakes and is perfect in everyway, but his prophet (who directly speaks with him) always seem to be changing Gods mind all the time.

About about that priesthood leader who has the mantle of discernment who never seems to know who those abusers and perverts are, but they always seem to know you are guilty, when you are not.

Then there is the 10% tithing promise about blessings galore, while people and their children spend entire lifetimes in poverty. But lets not forget about that blessed 100 Billion Fund that God has gotta have.

Did you preach that the physical/social issues and area that you were born into was due to how great or less your intelligence was? (i.e. color of skin, poverty/war torn or non-Christian aware countries. Physical/mental issues were determined by worthiness from pre-earth life decisions and actions).

What's the point of having an inquiry or discovery of "facts" if the governing body has already made its decision before the accused has had it's time to address or present its case?

I knew of 2 cases where the accused members had their cases decided by the high council/stake presidency prior to having their right to present testimony/evidence against the charges.

* Does the LDS church acknowledge/admit polices and/or actions including failure to honor its claims and promises that harm anyone, including restitution and fair & just compensation to anyone adversely effected?

*;Please tell your comments regarding what happens when there are gaps - disconnects between LDS claims - statements & LDS actions or failures to act...

* When will the LDS church be 100% financially transparent?

* When will females be admitted to your "Priesthood"?

Where's the love? Isn't that a misnomer?
