Sister Goop was too sick to receive a liver transplant.

I wish she could have overcome liver disease, but I am glad that she is no longer suffering. She was an amazing person and it's lousy that we can't spend more time together. 26 years was a good run.

It's been a long month of doctors, hospitals and a lot of driving.

I won't bother anyone to believe as I do but being a spiritual person has helped me with dealing with pain and grief. I am fortunate to have family and friends helping out with support.

Sorry for your loss. I know what spending hours in the hospital and dealing with a sick loved one is like. It relieving to know the suffering is over but the loss is hard. Life is too short. I always felt our souls go onto something else. I won’t pretend to know what exactly but it’s a big universe and we are part of it.

Oh messy. I’m sad for your loss. I light candles in cathedrals—I will light one for you and your wife.
