I remember someone posted a link to a National Registry?, that listed the percentages of charitable donations, based on total wealth or assets, that each church makes annually. I have looked around, and can't find it. Anyone remember the name of the org. or the link?.......thx!

Apparently nobody else remembers such a post. I would think such a table would be pretty problematic in any case. Nobody knows the total wealth/assets of LDS Inc, except maybe LDS Inc. Deciding which expenditures qualify as charitable or not is also dependent on definition of charitable.

It is pretty obvious that LDS Inc does not spend a lot of money on charity either as a percentage of their annual income, or as a percentage of their total wealth.

However, I imagine their total operating budget and construction budget for temples is pretty impressive.

...well, from what I remember about that post was that it showed LDS at a 1.5-2% charitable donation rate based on total wealth/assets. The Methodist Church came in higher at 20-24%? So I wanted to verify before I crashed my sister's world.....thx!

Give this a try Clifton. I have to go do some stuff or I would look, besides, you know what you are looking for.

Go to SEARCH at the top of the page.

Search Messages All Words Methodist Church

GO DOWN TO THE BOTTOM AND CHANGE -

Last 30 Days to All Dates

Leave it as show as messages.

This will give you a list of sublines. Chances are good you will find what you are looking for. Be SURE to change that 30 day field :)
