That’s a pretty high-rent suburb, too expensive for young families. I expect it is mostly empty-nesters, or well-to-do professionals with older kids.
I’m not sure when that area was developed, but I would guess 50 to 70 years ago. Utah Mormonism thrives in new subdivisions. Aging neighborhoods, not so much.
and she lived in it while they were on a mission many years ago. I was pregnant at the time, so 37+ years. Nice area. Pretty shocking for this one to be dissolved.
My bro. lives in this era but I don't recall seeing that. I would like to sneak in and look around. I wonder who owns it. Let me guess....the church? All the cool old buildings I roamed through as a kid have been torn down. My friend and I would wander through some old United Order Buildings in Brigham City.
When I grew up I remember hearing “Mormonism is the fastest growing religion”. To bad the lds church does not give out the actual numbers of how many people get baptized and how many people resign each year.
If the church were honest about the denominator, Mormonism might well become the fastest growing church in the world. In fact, the growth rate would asymptotically approach infinity.
