I was prepared to be critical, but it actually sounds like a cool mall. I need to see those robot puppies! It has been long planned, and takes up the top floor in a parking garage where there was formerly a coffee shop and a cafeteria.

St. Peter's Square and the Vatican get an insane number of visitors each day, and those people need to be fed, watered, accommodated, etc. So having nearby facilities for them makes sense.
