https://www.yahoo.com/news/idaho-library-election-results-most-171229191.html

Apparently, the only county where those advocating for the censorship of books won was in Koutenay County in far northern Idaho. The rest of the state, including the Mormon (oops! LDS) strongholds of southeastern Idaho did not in mass vote for those who would dare to tell us what we can and can't read.

It's a struggle over every little thing!

Meanwhile, as of Apr. 16, 2023, the Idaho legislators killed the Maternal Mortality Review Committee for this year, which would have helped to improve health care in Idaho. This committee tracked, reported and investigated maternal related deaths.

Idaho already has a dismal record for pregnancy related deaths. This recent action apparently makes it illegal to report and track pregnancy related deaths here. Guess why.

Does the Idaho media report these details to the public?

Do the common sense folks have no voice (influence) there???

Idaho seems to be headed in the same direction as Florida, Texas, and a few other states, It sounds like minority rule to me on the state level.

My understanding is that medical facilities are not allowed to release any information about this. At least that is what my local news implied. I'm not entirely sure though exactly what they've managed to pull off. I'm too pissed to look into it. This legislature has everything by the short hairs.
