There is/was a poster here that used the name "tanstaafl." I am pretty sure he was from TX. Does he or she still post here?

I see a poster on a weather blog in Houston that uses this same moniker. I am wondering if it is the same person?

Doing a site search does not ID such a poster, but I have been told that the records were lost about 15 years, because there was no point to keeping them at that point because no cute male Lamanites had begun posting...

As to the poster's SN, philosophers and economists of a certain bent would happily promote that point of view, while many young women, of a certain bent, would assume it not to be true.

Thank you Susan I/S and Beth. I knew what the acronym stands for already. And when I saw that name in this local to Houston weather blog, I immediately thought of the person with same username that posted here at RFM. I was just wondering if they were the same person or not.
