They already are running network TV commercials for conference in my area. Gaaah!

They won't touch the extreme views in their culture.
They will discuss "be kind" which appears to be the only response I've seen to how uncivil many people have become.
They might go so far as to tell people to read only faith promoting books, since the book banning is fueling that view.

"Be Kind" like "Stay Safe" is one of those phrases that has a passive aggressive ring to it.

The criteria for being classified as 'active' aren't well known- understood, but they still w/don't mention numbers (% or real) of how many members are 'active' or not, what % are tithe payers, or attend temple...

Will say - The church continues to grow as part of the gathering of Israel.

Won't say- We lost another million of members through resignations, but our financial fund increased by another billion.

I doubt that a million members have formally resigned over the entire history of the church, much less in one year.

And amassing just another billion dollars would be a very bad year for them. Ten billion is closer to the mark.

But you are correct in that they won’t say that.

Hate to break it to you, but “adieu” is an English word. Yes, it originally came from French, as do about a third of English words - Norman Conquest and all that.

Check your friendly neighborhood dictionary.

There are plenty of ways to debunk the BoM. Adieu is not one of them.

It may not debunk the book, but it does hilariously stand out. One gets the impression that a poor writer was trying too hard.

"Adieu" may be English, but it isn't King James English. I am also pretty sure that the word never appears in contemporary works by Marlowe and Shakespeare. So it definitely stands out in the BoM context. "Farewell" or a number of other words would have made more stylistic sense.

They will mention to go on a mission. They will not mention how many missionaries come home early from a mission due to depression.
Pay tithing. Probably more temples will be announced. A church who has over 100 billion can do so much more to help it's members and communities. Yes the lds church donated 1 million dollars to the wildfire in Maui not too long ago.

They are beginning to talk about abuse in church.
