How could one NOT think this in light of the trending decisions that are made at the top of this "Little Boys Club" such as...

> The purposeful hoarding of Billions of Tithing $$$ & other related Commercial entity profits.

> The secreting away from the Government of such hoarding.

> The purchase of huge amounts of Commercial Real Estate & Land Tracts & Farmland.

> The utter absence of verifiable Charitable giving to the hungry, poor, impoverished, down-trodden, & destitute in our society.

> The waste of Billions of $$$ in an on-going vanity project & building boom of ushering in Temple saturation.

> Even perhaps the manipulation of the Stock Market or certain sectors of it where they are major players because of their wealth.

DID I MISS ANY???

I would even go so far as to say that some of the Charlatans mentioned above may even be Atheists (which isn't a bad thing in & of itself) except in this instance for the way that they are portraying themselves to be otherwise...it sure as Hell is!

Or so it seems to me...

When I think of these guys running the corporation, deceiving the members and placing donations into essentially secret funds that do not benefit the members that donated those funds, they know what they are doing is religious fraud. There is no other way of viewing it in my opinion. These Mormon leaders are no different than the Watchtower governing body, Scientology quacks and countless other groups. Are there are few sincere believers at the very top? Perhaps a Spencer W Kimball or similar men with a high tolerance for cognitive dissonance and relatively low intelligence believe that what they are doing is good for mankind. There has to be an inkling in the back of their minds that what they are doing is fraudulent, yet they continue as it benefits them financially and they get to be adored. These men have proven their lack of integrity and honesty, which are requirements to advancement, as they moved to the top of these organizations. There are sincere believers at lower levers. Those men do not rise to the top.

I'd say amoral without a doubt.

You make me wonder if, like all people who run a scam, even if at a certain point you realize it's risky and/or you don't feel right about continuing--you find you are in too deep and all you can do is tread water because admitting what you have been doing is too high a price to pay.

Facing your family, your community, and admitting what you have done? Not gonna happen with these guys. And they are hooked on adulation. That is a very powerful drug.

You have to kill something inside yourself to keep going. And they have. Spiritually dead.

OTOH ...the wealth they've accumulated isn't stuffed in a mattress somewhere, most of it is invested in an income & employment enterprise

Except for temples.

I hope the farmland is producing food, which I count is productive for people.

They could go Organic!!
