Santa vs. Elohim

They both live in mysterious places (the North Pole or Kolob).

They are both aware of what each of us are doing 24/7/365

They both either reward us, or withhold rewards, based on what we do (or fail to do).

Most children stop believing in one of them around age eight, whereas age eight is when children “choose” to follow the other.

This is true...

Both my brother and sister used to believe in Santa. That was around 8 for both. Neither of them really believe in God. It's interesting, the comparison.

Have you ever had kids? Santa will help you burn a hole in your wallet very quickly. Or help take half of your possessions from you from a divorce (since many divorce proceedings start at this time of year.)

Maybe the Jehovah's are right not to celebrate it.

Brigham Young beat a divorce suit brought by one of his ex wives (of 25 years) by successfully arguing that the polygamous marriage was never legal.
