Makes me wonder if using this service isn't sinful?

https://www.celestialrecycling.com/

Blows my mind how holy underwear has been such a problem for God's children. Did Nephites have underwear?

Talk about your "side hustle"! When I read that these recycle bags cost from $28-$40 I burst out laughing.

Even if the Nephites had underwear it would not qualify, since it says on the website "No Bloody or Stained items".

But I have to admit as I looked at that website I paused and thought to myself, how desperate do you have to be?

Not accepting blood atonement people's garments.

I was taught that you were to cut out the marks and burn them, then use the remaining fabric for rags or whatever. It was only marks that made them special.

It embarrasses me how ingrained the holy underwear beliefs were for me. When I was a TBM, I made sure to remove the markings before disposing of them. Even after I stopped believing (and stopped wearing my Jesus jammies, it took a year or two before I threw them in the garbage.

I hate to say that if my daughter gets wind of this, she'll do it. She is worse in some ways than I was about things like this and she pays extra tithing I know and she goes to those places you can make donations. I just heard again about the ones in Logan, Utah that are coming back soon. I have learned to just support her in how she wants to live mormonism. I babysit her dog for her for all her meetings and such things as she came all the way up to Logan to see her mormon mother (I've learned to not let that get to me) give a talk at the RS birthday dinner about 1-1/2 to 2 weeks ago or less???? I tended her dog. I love her dog, so no big deal.

I won't dare ask her if she has purchased one of these bags to throw out her garments in. One thing they did tell me when they were here on a Sunday about a month ago--they don't fast. OHHHHHHH!!!! I see.

I have to come over here and see that Elder Berry is still posting. One of my favorites!!

that they are working in Provo. They are doing training of bus drivers for Princess and she does payroll. They usually do this in St. George, but they didn't have enough interested in St. George this year. There are a lot of trainers and a lot of trainees usually every year. I get a kick out her actually hating Provo. I never liked the place as a mormon either. My older sister went to BYU. She tried to get me to move to Provo when my missionary left in 1977 as she wanted me to find someone else to marry and NOT the missionary. My week stay there I won't go into, but it was horrible.

Her husband isn't OVER THE TOP mormon like she is and his family isn't either.

Thanks for the updates Colleen. Hope your son is getting more manageable. Your daughter needs the church more than it needs her it seems. Hope the men in your life are doing well from your former co-workers to the ones in your house.
