This is a crazy time here in East TN. Hopefully we will not go down, but it is a possibility. We are watching the weather on the Weather Channel in addition to a local TV station in Chattanooga. We are about to be hit with high winds. We may need to light a candle to Odin for our safety. We have our important stuff in a downstairs bath and ready to move into it if things get worse. No basement here sigh.

I hope the tornadoes stay north and south of you, and the rest of the storms don't do damage.

The unexpurgated version:

Well, I don't know why I came here tonight
I've got the feeling that something ain't right
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs

Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you

Windy.com is usually my go to when checking the weather. What's interesting is looking at worldwide radar coverage you may note gaps.... Russia (data no longer shared?), much of the middle east, and ALL of Africa.

For Radar info on missing places I usually go to Ventusky.com. I do not know how they get their Radar information (Satellite), but it fills in the missing gaps for me.

Be safe!
The tornadoes have been crazy this year. Scary.
Hoping for the best for everyone in the path of them.

I hope all the tornadoes skirt you and hit areas like mine.

You should never wear a skirt in a tornado.

Tornados in skirts hitting PHILs areas. Sounds nasty.

It's been crazy. We even got a good sized tornado just south of Baltimore a few days ago. Stay safe, Eric.

Do millions of the active HVAC heat pumps with air to air heat exchangers, add a significant amount of BTU energy to the advancing warm fronts, during weather events?

Or, maybe better yet just feeding the superstitious "end of the world" fearmongering that upstarted Mormonism, JW's and Christian Science after Tanbora eruption.

Should I feel embarassed after watching these apparent human needs and drivers?

We are fine. We were prepared for a storm. It literally went north and south. Our server has gone down in the past with these types of storms.

All you need now is the New Madrid Fault to come up with another 8.3 or similar earthquake.

When it or others nearer you do hit big you will be in big trouble. Doubt if your area has earthquake safety building codes in place.

Is your water heater strapped down? Might at least do that so if you get a shaker, even another smaller one the heater doesn't tip over.

You do get earthkquakes.

Why can't you make a Cyclone Cellar? Kansas area ranching and Texas farm we had them.
Can even do it in town areas like folks did with Fallout Shelters decades ago.

Just be sure to check for buried lines & such first. Maybe you need a permit? Be worth checking it out as below ground, buttoned up us much safer than in a house which can be totally blown away in a tornado.
