After hearing about Warren Jeffs performance in court it seems he really believes that he is "the" Prophet. The LDS church says that Thomas Monson is the real Prophet. So, which Prophet is "the" Prophet? How do both the LDS and FLDS claim to be the true church at the same time?

Well, Jeffs certainly does more prophecying than Monson. I think that makes Jeffs the winner.

Plus Monson is an apostate if you truly believe the teachings of JS.

Neither Monson or Jeffs are prophets except in name only. Both LDS & Flds Churches are messed up to the ultimate degree and a true prophet would have nothing to do with either. A true prophet would not demand blind obedience and both do. A true prophet would uplift the Lord's children and not guilt trip them in every way and Both do this. A true prophet would be a loving and caring individual and not up to their neck in exploiting the last dollar out of their flock as both do. A true prophet would speak with God and the Messiah and carry their message of Love to his children, neither do. You can add to this list, but neither of these individuals match up!

Monson can only dream of being such a brave prophet. If God tells you to boink a 14 year old at least Mr. Jeffs has the prophet fortitude to obey!

Jeffs is the closest we are going to get to an Old Testament style prophet. Monson can't come close.
