They gave me Freddy Mercury, but when I asked the temple president about it, he said that was a mistake, and changed it to Saul. Fuck. I was so close.

I think Ester is beautiful, although people growing up always told me "Rebecca"

was a beautiful name. Never could understand why....

One of my best friends fathers called me "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" which did little to endear me to my name, her father or that book which I have pointedly not read, even these many years.

I think my temple name is Deborah. I think the fact that I'm not totally certain bodes well for me.

Mine is ABISH.

Hubby's is BENJAMIN.

Both received in the Dallas, TX Temple on August 27, 1993.

I told my son what my temple name was and he laughed and said: "That means I'm a son of A-bish!" lol!
