Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a two stage, complex genetic disorder affecting the hypothalamus of the brain, causing a chronic feeling of hunger that can lead to excessive eating and morbid obesity.

I read this interesting stat on teh Utah chapter's website:

"Approximately 70% of the children in Utah with the syndrome have not been diagnosed. Early diagnosis and intervention can prevent many of the complications associated with the syndrome, including morbid obesity, diabetes, congestive heart failure and respiratory failure."

Because I have a tbm wife and haven't been able to resign from the church yet some say I have this awful Pu**y Whipped Syndrome. It's awful.

But not to make light of the real and more serious PWS.

It's horrible. The kids are starving all the time. Half of his job was just to make sure that they weren't eating, and of course, the kids were miserable.

(not that I am saying you shouldn't make fun. that was pretty funny(
