Great friend of mine said the bishop is on a clearing house binge. Going out to inactives and asking and educating them on getting off the roles. I asked my friend if my name came up. He said not since the last time (about a year ago) when he personally asked the bishop what his intentions were for me.

I still get along with most everyone in the ward but I appease no on my feelings about the church. My family has joined another church and the kids brag about it on facebook. I have been known to activly speak out against the church to some members. Great example of an apostate.

Could it be a PR decision? I still know most of the people in town as they frequent my business regularly. Could they be worried about a popular person in town rejecting their dogma after a 15 membership?
