Nah. I've seen the statistics. They sell 90% of all the products in their humanitarian program. It is ridiculous.

I volunteered in a cannery. They had the production schedule up. Out of the 12,000 cans we produced, 11.500 were specifically made to be sold. Only 450 were marked humanitarian. This says it all.

Interesting! My Woman's Bible study group is hosting a Thanksgiving meal today for the women of the local homeless shelter. We will have a home cooked meal and then the ladies will be going "shopping" in the annex where the Bible study group have donated hundreds of shoes, clothes, coats, make-up, toiletries, etc.

It wasn't published in the newspaper or even the church bulletin. Just our group did it with no men involved to get credit for it.

How is "getting credit for it" relevant to the women you are helping? Why is it relevant to you?

You don't understand! Feeding the homeless and needy at Thanksgiving will fill their belly and give them warmth for a day, but the Book of Mormon will fill their spiritual belly and warm their bosom for a lifetime!
