A TBM friend who knows I resigned my Mormon membership (only because her husband is the bishop of my mother and saw my "not confirmed" status on Mom's tithing settlement forms), has been inviting me to stake conference because she knows I have a personal relationship with this G.A. We used to work together. I never told her I ever liked this particular ego maniac but she assumed that during my TBM days I had a soft spot for this looney. WRONG. I wouldn't walk across the street to hear this nut job give a speech or even say hello. I'm actually more afraid my tBM friend will give him my mother's address and he'll drop in on us while he's in town. I'm not afraid of him but he can be a real jerk about showing up at people's front door unannounced. Even my mother, who is still in the Morg, is scared he might just drop in unannounced. Anyone out there care to guess who I'm talking about? lol
