My 13-year-old looked *exactly* like a missionary! (Gawd).

This year, the 8th grade boys are required to wear ties. So his school uniform everyday is: white short-sleeved shirt, navy slacks, navy tie, black dress shoes, and close-cropped hair. The only thing missing is a name tag!

Due to a training conference I must attend all day, I can't pick DS up from school this afternoon. So he had to ride his bike back and forth today.

Anyway, my son was sitting on his bike with his backpack on, and as he put his bike helmet on his head . . . the resemblence to an LDS mishie suddenly hit us all at once. We got hysterical lauging at him. Of course, all the little kids had to come out and gawk, too. (DS was *not* amused).

So, as he rode off I yelled, "I hope nobody throws a slurpee at you on your way to school!"

Then DH shouted, "But maybe if you're lucky, you'll get a boob flash!"

Afterwards, my husband and I agreed that we should have taken a picture and sent it to TBM grandma in Utah. She's got dementia and she'd probably believe DS was really serving a mission. It would have made her day. (sigh)
