Shady Missionary Tactics (cont.)

We would be sitting on a subway train, and my comp would start tapping his watch then put it to his ear as if it wasn't working, then he would inform the person sitting next to him that his watch was not working, and did they have the time. It felt so dishonest, because one he had their attention, they were captive, sitting there. After they gave him the time, he would start in with his missionary spiel, acting like this was just an 'oh by the way' thing, since we're already talking. Made me sick.
