So I came out to many of my extended family this week. In discussing my various and sundry reasons for leaving I told them that the systemic, long term suppression of facts, and lying by the prophets was one of the reasons I am free from religion.

To which my mom agreed, but said the gospel is true, the church has been taken over by luciferians who are driving people away from the church. So I asked who the true prophet was and she had no idea.

Then she told me my wife was going to call me over so I could get in!!!!

I told her my wife would have to be assigned to some other codger.


Dammit, now I have to find another mormon sect that has the REAL truth!

What am I to do...oh I know, since I have done all the work and know all the passwords and handshakes I will just sneak in.

On another note, I know I am truly free because I was showing those handshakes to someone in a restaraunt who asked me if they really existed and I thought it was funny. Much to the horror of my friend who is not a member but knows a lot of members and mormon beliefs(I just typed our beliefs and had to change it).

Your wife cannot get in without a worthy Priesthood holder. She will have to wait for you outside until either you arrive worthy or a worthy person is assigned to her.

I told her that, along with the fact that to get she was going to have to be a polygamist, and would be assigned a husband, or be given to my dad(that went over like a lead balloon) since she is not sealed to anyone but him. You would have thought I poleaxed her.

She HATES my dad. It was a funny visual.

Him calling her, her saying nope, she would rather be in outer darkness!!

I am laughing again just thinking about it.
