We were told that we needed to read, ponder and pray. And if we did that with real intent, then the spirit would give us a testimony via a burning bosom. Well, okay, if that's true, then I have a testimony of the following (short list) because that's the feeling I had at the time:

1. Rocky Balboa is the true boxing champion. When he beat Apollo Creed (even when he lost), Clubber Lange, and Ivan Drago, my bosom burned.

2. Any Hallmark Movie Presents. Shila makes me watch those, but I always come away with a testimony.

3. Tim McGraw's song "Don't Take The Gurl". Fishin' and little girls don't mix, but when she grows up she does.

4. MLK's I have a Dream speach. I still mist up when I here that one.

5. Valerie Borzov is the true last white hope in Olympic sprinting. Won 100 meter and 200 meter in the '72 olympics.

I've been more moved by the Lord of the Rings than I ever was by the scriptures, general conference or testimony meeting. Even the movie version (extended version for sure) moved me more than anything I ever felt in the temple, bishopric, missionfield, etc.

The scene when the Riders of Rohan take the field to save Minas Tirith with the music makes me tear up and gives me tingles...yeah, to each their own and your own results may vary but hey, you asked :)
