Nothing in Heaven functions as it ought:

Peter's bifocals, blindly sat on, crack;

His gates lurch wide with the cackle of a cock,

Gangs of the slaughtered innocents keep huffing

Like that of an old dandelion gone to seed;

LDS,Inc. teaches repeatedly that god is organized, methodical, systematic and that to be loved by god we must live in lockstep obedience to the "commandments" that thebrethern say god has given us. These commandments include something as minute as how many piercings one may have, wearing a white shirt, dressing the same, acting the same, and so on. No free wheeling part in the true church of god.

But I believe that if there is a god, it is to be found in the random and chaos that real life affords. Life is messy and happiness can not be found in perfection; it is in the defective and the "sin."

Mormon happiness is a life of anxious servitude to an unseen overseer, capricious in nature. Conform, or you're out.
