A friend of mine recently had a baby boy.

First Name: Porter
Middle Name: Rockwell

I wonder if he will ever learn the truth behind the sanitized version of Mr. Rockwell's life and deeds.

Oh my goodness. Why do parents do that? Maybe they feel it is a guarantee their child will always be true to the church. One of the first books I got rid of was about Porter Rockell. Isn't it amazing how they portrayed his life?

On the other hand, I know a family who named their poor kid "Teancum." I hope he goes inactive at an early age.

Possible nicknames:
- Tea. Oops, can't have that
- Cum (?), Cummy. Oh, my.
- Tank. Could work.
- He should sue to change his name to Ian, though.
