There are three types of changes in the Book of Mormon. 1) Spelling 2) Gramatical 3) theological. And all have been shown to have occurred.
The first two are really not all that important. It is the third that is the most problematic. Such as changing white and delightsome to pure. Or even changing the intro to the BoM to state that the Lamanites are the ancestors of just some of the American Indians.
And if they now believe that that only some of the natives are Lamanite decedents, then where do they claim the rest came from?
Also, didn't it say that the "Promised Land" would be taken over by a more righteous group. I'm assuming that they mean the white European settlers. But then the GA's always say that the world is a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah. How could this land be taken over from the wicked Lamanites by an appearantly even wickeder group?
Just pointing out some more inconsistencies with the BoM.
